Waiting for Tuner Problem - MKI - Std

Hi guys.
I know this has been discussed loads of times but I just don't know what to do.
The typical problem.
I hit the IA16 (set to tuner in mfc setup) and the Waiting for Tuner message appears.
All Realtime messages are on and all the I/O settings are setup correctly.
I use a 7pin Midi and the phantom power via the Axe.

The strage thing I found...
When I activate the tuner over the AxeFx and THEN hit the IA16 the MFC receives all the info it needs. The tuner works.

The flex-cables inside my MFC came off once (all leds off and buttons out of function)
Might that have something to do with that? Damaged something?

I need help :-D I'm going nuts. I hate it when I just can't figure it out :-D

The tuner detects signals at the front input, Input 1 left (rear) and S/PDIF signal
Enable real-time MIDI SysEx communication on the Axe-Fx II (I/O > MIDI) by setting it to “Tuner” or "All".
If this message Waiting for tuner appears after pressing the Tuner switch on the MFC-101, check the following:
I/O menu: Send Realtime Sysex must be enabled on the MIDI page
Tuner menu: must display first page
The Tuner must be set to the default MIDI CC on the Axe-Fx.

I have a Standard.
The Realtime Sysex is set to all.
I'll give your list a try tomorrow, but I feel like I have done these things a dozen times by now :-/
What's the "Standard MIDI CC" for the Tuner?

Okay.....it kinda works. Thank you very much. I just don't want to have the tuner on 15. I want it on 17. But no matter what I do...I can't get it to work there. Although I set the tuner in the Axefx IO to 17 AND set button 17 to tuner on the mfc it won't work. A I am idiot? What am I doing wrong?

Just making sure you know that the numbers in I/O control list on the axe do not correspond to the Switch number on the MFC.

Leave the Tuner at 15 and assign any switch on the MFC to Tuner and it will work.

I suggest leaving the entire I/O CTRL list set to default always.

IA switches can be assigned to Axe-Fx functions or to general MIDI functionality.
In Axe-Fx Mode go to Edit > Midi > IA and select the desired block for each switch from the list of effects. In Axe-Fx Mode IAs operate globally, meaning that you cannot change switch functionality per preset.
You can assign an effect to the switch. The switch will then enable or bypass that effect. You can also select an effect X/Y, to switch between X and Y. Other available Axe-Fx functions include Vol Inc, Vol Dec, scenes.
If you select "None", the switch is not assigned to specific Axe-Fx functionality. It will be available for general MIDI use (referred to as: General Use IA Switch). This lets you program MIDI commands. You can send 2 separate MIDI CCs, a MIDI PC, and additional custom MIDI commands per switch. Use value 127 to switch on effects, 0 to switch off. Or select OFF to send nothing at all. General Use IAs operate globally (same across all presets).
