Virtual Capo Tracking Question

Hello! I use the Virtual Capo in many of my presets and even when recording. It’s pretty straightforward and works well, but I would like to know more about the tracking parameter. I am currently using the default setting (Tracking 5.00) and shift -2. Should I increase the tracking when shifting down? My goal is to sound as close as possible to my guitar being tuned down two steps without actually changing from standard tuning.

If you lower the Tracking value there is less latency but more artifacts. In my experience, this works well with single note lines however I've noticed a bit of "warble" with chords under gain so I tend to leave it at the default setting.

For tight metal rhythms I've noticed that if I bring the pitch down further than -2 steps I need to kick on a clean boost/OD to bring back some of the attack and high end on my tone.
