Yea I use the Low Cut/High Cut as a 'blunt instrument' to broadly dial in the pedal at first if I find the defaults a bit thin/fat/dull/toppy then use the Tone and/or EQ's for fine, detailed adjustments. Depends on the pedal, guitar, etc.

I used to do that before the G3 drives.

Before that, most of the drives sounded too band limited to my ear.

Now, the drives seem more open by default.

Super Od and Hard Fuzz ! My most used sound way better to me

Can anyone do a comparison of some of the fuzzes against to a real fuzz pedal?

I'd wait till the rest of the fuzzes are G3'd to make the comparison. I don't even use the hard fuzz as a traditional fuzz.
