Tone match

so I know the Ax8 won't tone match like my XL, so if I wanted to take a tone match block out of my axe fx XL and stick it in a friends AX8 is this possible and if so how would I go about it?

You have to export the tone match as a cab block (can only be done on the XL hardware), and then import it to the Ax8

I must be stuck on stupid tonight how do I export a tone match block as a cab block? I can't seem to figure it out. Sorry I know this is dumb and I have done it before a long time ago but I'm just not doing something right.

export as a IR in the tone match block

I don't see any option at all to export this block while clicking on the Tone Match block itself. The block in in a preset I took from axe change and it's not in my user cab slots. I think that is where I'm having trouble maybe.

You have to use the hardware - you cannot do it in AxeEdit

as @Smittefar mentioned, exporting to a user cab is Front Panel only. check the Axe-Fx Manual for more details. here's a screenshot:
