I finally got my Logic Pro X setup going (I bought an iMac and a UA Apollo Twin Interface), and I wanted to record something to use to help me learn the program.
This is what I came up with; it's a short (two-and-a-half-minute) instrumental, kind of in a Bill Frisell/Kurt Rosenwinkle/Scofield vein, but not as cool as any of those guys.
The lead is a pexi 100 patch with a rotary cab added, blended with the clean acoustic sound from the piezo pickup and the "Odd Guitar" patch on a Roland GR-55 (I play a Carvin which has magnetic, piezo and 13-pin outputs).
The rhythm is, I think, my LTD strat through a Vibrato Verb patch.
This stuff is fun!
