Stutter when changing patches MFC-101

I have an Ultra and ever since I received the MFC-101 controller, it has caused a stutter or tremolo like sound when changing patches on the MFC. The stutter lasts for about 1-2 seconds. It seemed to reduce slightly when I upgraded the latest firmware on the Ultra.

I normally have my laptop connected with a MIDI merger also, but connecting directly still causes the stutter.

Wondering if you can help me out with suggestions?

I don't know if this'll help or not, but when I was experimenting with the setup for my Mission expression pedal with the MFC, I got that effect when I changed the Midi channel from channel 1 to all. I'm away from the rig right now, so I can't say where that setting is, prolly I/O. Check to make sure the MFC & the Ultra are both set to communicate on Midi channel 1.

I had the same problem and once I switched the axe from omni to midi channel 1 - all worked beautifully!

Problem solved! Changing Axe from Midi Channel: Omni -> Channel 1 solved stutter issues. Thanks for your help
