Shiny place ?

I have started to notices that "some" of the settings that I wind up using are in this place on the parameter knobs. That little clear or shiny section in the face of the knob, Especially the Bass and Treb also depending on the amp the Gain and the Presents. Maybe it's just me but this seems to be a sweet spot for a lot of my presets, is anyone else seeing this ?
