Robotalk?

Not sure what you're asking for here. The Axe already does envelope following (and has a random LFO and a random sequence generator as well), so it can do everything the Robotalk does and more.

Well, this is like saying: the Axe already has an amp, why add another one?

Fact is that to properly emulate what the Robotalk does sound wise is virtually impossible with the current modules. Getting the same liveliness, fatness and vocal quality would really require to model the analog circuit of the pedal.

Exactly - if there's another amp with the same basic circuit already in there, there's no need to add another one.

Are you sure? Some of that stuff might be achieved with an EQ or drive added to the filter. That's why I'm asking what's different about the Robotalk, because if the difference can be defined, it can be reproduced, either with things already available in the Axe, or by requesting a specific new feature. Is the liveliness an EQ thing, a filter type thing, or an envelope response thing? Is the fatness due to something unusual about the filter, or is it just because there's a treble rolloff in the analog circuit? What is it about the filter that gives it a vocal quality?
