Hi guys,
A couple weeks ago I asked for recommendations for different amps to refresh tones and ears. Now running on 17.03 I feel quite happy again. Regularly I take my basic preset and change amp and cabs, this preset has some ducking dual delay (1/4 and dotted 1/8) for spaciousness in my leads. Some reverb (just to add the rooms airyness), a reverse delay with a foot controller for mixing in (heel down defeats the reverse). A nicely tweaked wah and a PEQ before the amp to mimic a boost pedal. I decreased CPU usage by taking out the drive block.
And the amps that have been used the most these days are the Friedmans (built a nice dual amp patch using the BE and HBE in tandem), the 30w Suhr (amazing cleans, and the Riot sim pairs really well). The Wrecker, and I'm digging into the Usa Leads today.
Gain is at 5.00 tops, most of them under 5 work great for me.
