Question (Duplicable effect?)

I've been looking at this effect for a little while, and in a nutshell, it's a second harmonic generator box with a built-in compander circuit. It has two channels (a dark side and a bright side, the latter of which sounds somewhat ring modish), and what I wanted to know if this effect could already be achieved with the Axe-FX.

I'm expecting that it can be duplicated with ease, but a clip or the rundown of a patch utilizing the duplicated sound would be lovely.

Edit: Here's a better example of its usage. Higher levels and the effect is much less subtle.

You know, the more I listen to it, the more I think a low-gain fuzz with a compressor would pretty much do exactly the same thing and, if done correctly, could achieve an even more pleasing effect than this.
