Has anybody tried the Mackie DLM 12?

Should have mentioned this would be for self monitoring only as I go direct to FOH.

I have. Mine was busted so at high volumes the low end crapped out but it that non crap out level it sounded cool. I am very pro coaxial monitors

I have two that I run in stereo as my backline, they sound great and surprisingly very bass endy.

I have a dlm8 that at first I wasn't crazy about. Realized it was on the default setting of DJ. Changed it to PA and now it is usable as personal portable monitor. It is not a CLR but very portable.

I just unboxed mine on Tuesday. I used to have mid level pro EV's before. I like the DLM12's MUCH better than those. Light as all heck and impressive bass response out of such small boxes. Like the features too (eq/fx/and onboard mixer). Ridiculously small rig with just the axe and 2 dlm's (it would be like gigging with 2 1x12 cabs). Hard to believe the air they are able to move.
