I've browsed and old backup, and I am surprised to see myself playing a BC-Rich. I totally forgot that Now I remember that it was borrowed.
The name of the band was RIP. We played our own songs and covers of Maiden, Purple, Whitesnake, Saxon, Judas, Baron Rojo, UFO...

Always wanted one of those back in the day....Loving the Mockingbird! Even though it wasn't yours, it's so badass for the stage.
Early 1975 playing R & B/ funk with the rig of doom, '65 Fender Jazz & a '71 Acoustic 360.

Thanks! I just grabbed the version I had on my phone but there might be a better version on an old computer I have. I'll have to fire it up & see if I can find it.Oh Man, I love that picture. If you have a better resolution, it would be so cool to see. That photo has so much feel to it. Love it.
Those were sweet guitars if it was the set neck version. From 1976 or 77 and then in 1981. Shorter hair in the one pic because I was in the USAF at the time. The black guitar was my brothers Univox LP copy. Then a 78 Ibanez Artist. It’s still at my house but I gave it to my son.

Don't feel bad. I gave my son my Ampeg Dan Armstrong Plexiglass which I bought when they were discontinued in the 70's for $300. He left it in the back seat of his car in a parking garage and it was stolen. When we saw one for sale at Mars Music for $2500, he almost shit himself.Yes it’s a set neck. Quality built and it’s a tank too. I haven’t weighed it but guessing 10lbs. After I gave it to my son, he somehow managed to put a huge through the finish scratch on the back. I owned it for 35 years with no damage and he managed to mangle it in his 1st month.
This is a fun thread! Great to see you all in glory days...
Here's a few from BITD: All from about 1980, playing gigs in Southern WI

This insane band got back together in about 2017, and recorded a bunch of our originals from the early 1980s. I restored some old video (using DaVinci Resolve 17), and synced the new audio - the result is here:
Hope you get a laugh out of that!
