I recently came across this software metronome that is absolutely amazing. It has a ton of features for a very reasonable price ( the creator of this software has an interesting business approach that let's you decide which payment options work for you ... including low income, senior, student, etc ). You can display the thing in 2D or 3D, you can put it in practice mode where it will speed up for you, you can let it drop out for awhile, there's a scripting capability to create complex rhythm patterns, you can practice poly rhythms and on and on and on.
This is one very creative piece of software. The creator is more than happy to discuss things with you as well and even lets pieces of his code out for people who want to see what's behind the door.
If it sounds like I have a connection to this software, I don't ... I'm just amazed by it and thought I'd share.
