[NOT A BUG] Pitch Block Auto Engage Popping?

I'm getting a high pop/clicking on/off sound when using auto engage with the position modifier specifically with the pitch block. Also it doesn't turn the block on until I hit about 15-20% engaged even with fast position on. Just wondering if this is a confirmed bug or if anyone else has this problem? It's most noticeable on high gain settings. AFXII Mk1 Quantum 3.02. CPU usage at 42%, both with usb plugged and unplugged.

Can anyone reproduce this? The control parameter in the pitch block pops, and misses the first 10-20% when using auto engage.

Auto-engage engages the block when source moves 10% beyond the off value. The pop is somewhat expected when you're switching quickly to a shifted signal.

An alternative is to add a mix modifier instead of auto-engage, then leave the block engaged. Make mix go from 0 to 100% in the first few % of pedal travel. Adjust "control" modifier scale & offset slightly to have no pitch change in that low range. Use the same damping time on both modifiers. Be aware that going too low might cause pops similar to auto-engage. The default of 10 ms sounds fine here.
