Dont they still have the center block? I get a kick out of some people asking CS money for them while most go for normal prices on the used market.

A lightweight (sub 7lb) les paul would probably feel a bit off versus the ES where my brain would register its a different guitar and act accordingly.

That is a good question. It has been a while since I have had one in my hands. The only one that I know for sure is the PRS hollow body. I have a couple of them. They are hollow and only have wood in them where the bridge mounts to it. They do sound different.

I had a prs hollowbody and iirc it sounded a bit different but not drastically so. Sort of wish I kept it but I do love my les pauls.
