Well, my boy Jeff at Carvin did it again. He built this for me and he has the other one. The only two around. Just ridiculous. I can't explain how great a guitar this is. DC7X, so 27" Baritone. ALSO, it has the new Kiesel pickups, which remind me of Lundgrens but a bit tighter! Anyway, you will see the other one on Jeff's Facebook page. Many thanks to him for this beauty.

I like how the black binding gives it a Little more subtle look.
Its easy to cross the line with details and it would have become too much...

Outstanding piece! Post up the specs. I still think Carvin is the best bang for the buck for a U.S. custom made guitar.

I called them and will have one built. I cannot decide between Aqua burst and Deep Black Cherry with the colored birds-eye maple fingerboard. If they give me a good deal I'll order one in each color

They are great to work with. It is amazing how flexible they are on the design. I already had a 7 string done earlier this year in Claro Walnut. Stunning!

The new pickups are only available for 7 strings at this point. They should have the 6 string version early next year.

It sure is. I was not aware of that option and it is not in their catalog. You have to call and ask for it. I believe they call it the Kiesel treated fingerboard. Here is one in Red and another in Aqua burst. I know now why they call it Guitar Porn :lol
