Need help with this track. FW4 (LOL!)

Aside from the drums it's all axe fx II.

I've been struggling with this track. Everything I do to continue this piece it doesn't feel as epic as I've started. Do you guys have any ideas?

Do you continue with variations on the same melody line? Nice riff BTW! Maybe try something a little more staccato and percussive for the pre-verse/verse. That intro really ramps up the listener for a big BOOM.

What about adding some lead guitar to add a bit more melody?

Than , go back to the introduction with some acoustic guitar solo , and after change the pitch of the second part to +2

In my opinion the missing element is a melodic hook. It's a beautiful chord progression but there's no melody to make it really memorable.

Write a melody!

I like the overall song but, for me I would've liked the build-up to be faster. IMHO cut the build-up in half and bring the bass, kick snare up by +2 db and cut the dirty rhythm by -1 db. Totally agree with Patzag, needs a hook
