I have the GR55 and there have already been discussions that the Midi-Out can't be used from the MFC to drive other devices (like the GR-55) if you are using the Ethernet connection. Still hoping for that to be included in the next MFC update 
So trying to think about it the other way, here's my question. The GR-55 can send control change messages from its pedals through the midi out. So
- Can I use control change messages coming into the MFC to change patches on the Axe
- Can I use the Midi In while using the Ethernet connection
Curious as to whether others have figured out ways to minimize tap dancing with the GR55 and MFC
