Finally mounted my FM3 to a board. The open space is reserved for either my Whammy V or SY-200 depending on which way the wind is blowing.

What's the guitar on the left? Doesn't look like an original Strandberg?
Killer rigRunning mine after my JP2C for IR, EQ, and other post amp effects and then interface-DAW-Studio monitors for at home use. Boss WAZA TAE between the amp and FM3 for load box purposes only. I Would use it in the effects loop of the amp for playing out. FM3 is also controlling channels and other amp switches with scene changes.

This reminds me of the durable life-saving luggage in Joe vs the Volcano movie.Just switched to the fm9, so I thought i'd post it before I sell the fm3. Board and xlr/midi/1/4in loom live in a pelican 1595 air. (included a photo of the old 1615 air next to the 1595).

It says it sits above the LCDs for the switches not the screen...Has somebody tried these switches? Curious how this sits above the screen

That makes more senseIt says it sits above the LCDs for the switches not the screen...
I'm assuming it's attached with magnets?
I am impressed!This is the FM3+8
Ghostfire Standard 1.0 board. It comes with a nice carrying bag

If you want to DIY the Arduino MIDI controller, you can find the code here. It is very easy to do.
You can use the switches to control the 8 scenes or any other function you want.

I use the FM3 switches for Preset-Down/Tuner/Preset-Up, and the 8 extra switches for Scene Selection.

I didn't quite follow all of that, and I've never installed a headrest on any of my rigs. But the shield is a cool idea. Needs some poison-tipped spikes facing the audience, though.I played rather raucous gig last Saturday, and as I’ve now moved over to a fender fr12 the board is a little exposed (previously had a headrest on a peli case in front)
So, I’ve just made this v1 of a shield for what I see as the vulnerabilities, looking forward to road testing it in a couple of weeks then onto v2
Haha oh man so that was a bit early for my fingers to work..I didn't quite follow all of that, and I've never installed a headrest on any of my rigs. But the shield is a cool idea. Needs some poison-tipped spikes facing the audience, though.
I just use some chunky zip ties, going strong for 18 months now!Btw. how is the FM3 fixed to a Pedaltrain Velcro floor? Mine is unattached to it and only keeps its position due to its weight... For transportation in the hard case this works, as the lid foam holds the device in place. Nevertheless, I would like to secure the device against slipping and don't yet know how...
