James Gang tone

I searched for this but couldn’t find. Anybody able to dial in the Joe Walsh guitar tone for James Gang such as James Gang Rides Album? Funk #49 always sounded like there’s a little delay to me but is that due to multiple tracking? Thanks for any insight!

Hiis signature OD pedal (can't recall the maker) had a build in compressor in it, so that was probably a part of his sound.

I also think a compressor was involved.
Check the last video of Leon Todd, he gets really great results with his compressor trick that can help you.
