Isn’t Output 3 the same as 1 and 2?

Hello. The manual says that Output 3 “operates at unity gain when the Out 3 Level knob is turned fully clockwise.” But, isn’t Output 3 just the same as the other outputs? If not, how is it different? The specs in the manual make it look like it’s the same. Thanks.

The difference is that Output 3 operates at unity gain when the Out 3 Level knob is turned fully clockwise. The other Outputs don’t do that.

No. Anything less than fully counterclockwise is less than unity gain.

So output 3 when maxed is unity gain whereas the other 2 reach that level before being maxed right?

Yes. Outputs 1 and 2 are line level. They are about 18 dB hotter than Output 3.
