Infinite Reverb / Freeze / Hold Reverb / Chord-Drone

Will this work without having to switch the effect on and off? Also, can it be done with a standard. I must be doing something wrong because it's not working.

Not sure what I was doing wrong but I finally got it to work yesterday. This is perfect for practicing scales/modes over chords. Thanks!
 
As if I didn't want a 2 bad enough already.. Still in standard land for now but maybe an upgrade is in store for the not too distant future. :)
