Guys you cannot imagine what kind of revelation I just had.
2 months ago I received my VHT2502, and although I have 2 cabs at home, enough cables and all, I never bothered to wire it up stereo. I always played Mono.
3 weeks ago I received some JJ KT77s and put them in ChA, so what I did was switch back and forth between the Bogner 4x12, the Heritage 2x12, the KT77 side and the EL34 side, I also had put a NOS Philips 12AT7 in the EL34 side, so another variation. I never bothered to wire it up stereo, although I did think "ah one day I'm gonna try for fun's sake".
Today I did...
WOW!
This is such a crushing, earth shaking tone!
I immediately set up a 2 amp patch and panned them hard L/R (Diezel and Ueber). Oh my god!
Guys, if you have stereo amps, give it a try, it's incredible!!!!
Why didn't I do it earlier? I am so stooopid!
