Unfortunately not... I personally delivered the Axe and Matrix to him to review. The wedges were still at home!! I too was curious as to which monitors he was using. Oh well, surprised he didn't have power amp sims enabled though but a great review.

If I'm not mistaken, Tom has (very recently) settled on the: Axe-FX II-->Matrix GT1000FX-->Port City 2X12 Cabs (POWER-SIMS=ON; CAB-SIMS=OFF.)

I could be wrong though?

Cool, I have a set of sx300 speakers for my PA rig-gonna try them out again, but with my art sla-2 (which i happen to love)...

I two have an ART amp for my guitar rig, I was curious if you or anyone compared it to the Matrix Amps which seem to very popular? Do the Matrix Amps really sound better than anything else out there?

Hi there,
Tom is indeed playing through the Axe Fx II and Matrix GT1000FX 1u. He has already taken the rack on flights for teaching.
