How do I route my Computer audio through the Axe-fx matrix before it hits the output?

When using the Axe-fx II as a sound card, I want to route my audio through the effects matrix before I hear it.

There's got to be a way to do this but I can't find it in the wiki.

In the I/O menu set "main input source" to USB. You might want to set Input 1 Mode to stereo as well.

All that gives me is a mute.

A mute of the computer audio, or your guitar? Doing this will disable the use of Input 1 for guitar. Any audio from the computer should be running through the preset.

Mutes the computer audio. Checked the utility page. I have input on input 1 just like I should. But outputs are a deadline.

That sounds like something in the preset is muting the signal. Have you confirmed whether it produces sound if you switch back to the front input and connect a guitar?

It doesn't matter what preset I use. It's muted at the output no matter what.

Nevermind. I got it. For some reason the Axe-fx was wanted to mute the global out when I switched to USB.

What was the fix? It could be useful info for others. I'm not sure what "mute the global out" means.
