I wouldn't use only alcohol alone because it could damage some plastics. I would use a contact cleaner, as it has already been suggested. WD40 or similar

From the MSDS sheet for WD-40 Specialist contact cleaner:



It's a combo of Heptane and IPA (solvents) and Difluoroethane is the propellant.

With any solvent, time is key for exposure. Flush it and then blow it out with compressed air to evaporate it. Don't leave it sit for any extended period of time.

That’s fairly offensive… Dogs are going to be dogs. Not their fault they can’t tell the difference between a frackle audio fm9 from a Quad Cortex.

The dog in question I’m nearly certain is fine.
Had it happened to me? I most likely would have asked for repair money (had it been an issue) wouldn’t have gone after the dog.
Since it was a nonissue int the eve, even better.

I love animals, I’ll try and be a bit more sensitive in the future.
