it's great getting axe-edit and mfc updates before the official 18 drops. not that they're really needed but it would be nice to get new factory presets along with 18 ;-)

Not yet. There are a dozen amps or so that will have to wait for a subsequent release. Regardless, even without being G3'd the IIC+ models sound great.
