Fratomic FRFR & Red Wirez Big Box users: clean tones

hey guys,
i just bought the red wirez big box pack today and am a bit overwhelmed. i went through a bunch of the farfield IR's and some of the vox R121 and tweed deluxe p12r R121 but didn't really find what i was looking for. i'm using the axe fx ultra and the new fratomic frfr enclosure. i'm mainly interested in creating some clean patches (jazz, funk, & motown) and was wondering which cabinet/mic configurations you guys were having the most luck with. my favorite cabinet in the axe fx up until now has been the EV12L. to me, it has an open, clear top end without being harsh, a nice amount of mids, and mucho low end and works really well for jazz tones. is there anything similar in the big box package? thanks in advance.

For clean Jazz type tone I love the stock "2x12 Boutiq" the most and also the "2x12 Black"

With Redwirez try something like:
TweedDeluxeP12R-M160-CapEdge-3in.wav and mix it up
with a little TweedDeluxeP12R-R121-Cap-0in.wav for more fat.

Once Redwirez releases the new EVM-12L's I think we will be in good shape.

Hi,

I use this for clean tones. I have a PRS CE24 with EMG 81/85.

BIGBox/48 KHz-24bit/Marshall1960B-V30s/Sennheiser MD421N/Marshall1960B-V30s-421-CapEdge-0in.wav,0.50
BIGBox/48 KHz-24bit/VoxAC30Blues/Neumann U87/VoxAC30Blues-U87-CapEdge-1in.wav,0.40
BIGBox/48 KHz-24bit/Marshall1960B-V30s/Ambient Mics/Marshall1960B-V30s-KM84-BackCab-3in.wav,0.05
BIGBox/48 KHz-24bit/Marshall1960B-V30s/Ambient Mics/Marshall1960B-V30s-KM84-Stereo-Room.wav,0.05

thanks guys. i will try both of these recipes. i can't wait for the red wirez EV12L. i really dig the one in the axe fx.

for jazz I use the 1 x 15 - it's near the end of the list, a bass speaker I think - gives a nice woody tone on the lower strings.

Ohh I forgot to mention my favorite clean amp is the Blues JR.
Not the first thing that pops in your mind when you think of Jazz tones but
coupled with a 2x12 it just sounds amazing!
