First FW upload didn't take. I've only had this prob (if ever) w a MIDI i/f before. 2nd time went ok.

Please include in manual that you don't have to uninstall previous install.

FractalBot 1.2 loaded up OK. Wouldn't load 10.06!..about 9% progress..ERROR..(dialog says I had the FX in UPDATE mode)..not true.
Uninstalled FB and drivers..Reloaded FB and USB drivers, tried all possible power up combos..ERROR
Tried new USB cable and port with FB..ERROR
Finally tried AxeEdit to update the FW...WORKED!...go figure??..took about 5+ minutes with no errors.
Same old issue below using FW10.06:
(In AE) CAB still shows "FACTORY" when I click to try new CABs..I click off to another box in the grid, then back to CAB..CAB comes back as programmed
I am using Win XP Pro..SP3..anti-virus disabled for the whole process.
Gotta be a tweaker...right?
