That can happen with amps with master-volumes when the master-volume is turned up too far. See Cliff's Tech note "Setting the Master Volume" and "Master Volume" in the Amp block page in the Wiki for more information.I'm not expert but for most amps that sound to loose and flubby:

Go into the amp block and then input eq. Crank the low cut up to around 750hz. Then back it off until you get the lowend feel/sound you want. I personally do this at stock settings then tweak but it with sounds you've already dialed also.
There was previously other typos which I mentioned to @Admin M@ - looks like one got missedGreat job !
Now my autistic side says the webpage has an typo .... no factory presets for version 6 ;-)

where are you setting your bass ? A lot of the guys like Demartini was running his bass at about 9 0clock , mids 1 o'clockThanks for the advice. That’s a pretty aggressive cut! I’ll give it a shot tonight.

@Gonash - I agree with Jozsef - thats a great preset - is it available to download anywhere?Very nice!
Can I have the preset?
Thanks in advance!
750 Hz is just a starting point. The rest of his post says to back it off from there until it sounds right. Thanks for the advice. That’s a pretty aggressive cut! I’ll give it a shot tonight.
Dive right in, the water is great. I'll be gigging new f/w Sat. night. Sounds and feels fantastic - personally I wouldn't want to miss out.I'm really tempted to update the firmware but I should force myself to wait until after my upcoming gig. The struggle is real.
It's an official release now, so probably not that risky, other than making sure your presets haven't changed too drastically, specifically with volume. I've updated and will smash a metaphorical bottle of champagne across the bow of the new firmware in a couple gigs this weekend!Dive right in, the water is great. I'll be gigging new f/w Sat. night. Sorry for the lag in response! It was turned on Globally. My process is Songs & Setlists so I just needed to Save each Preset and the Gapless Switching came back! Thread closed. \m/_Is it on in the global settings menu?
Agreed…I think Jeff Beck used to turn the bass all the way down on his Marshalls. From the plexi amps I have played, they do tend to sound bass heavy…
They feel better to me... But that's subjective.anything significantly changed in the fender or dumble amp models? I have a gig wednesday so i'm planning on waiting until after that...
