That was my original choice but they aren't available in the UK or in Europe unfortunately.Pelican Vault series is a great choice - much more affordable.
I bought this case! It fits an fm9 mounted on a 22 inch pedalboard nicely, with some room for cables and whatnot. I plan on making a form fit foam insert with spray foam, and then laying fabric over it so its smooth. It may be a disappointment but well find out. In my mind it feels like it should work. This link is posted several times in this thread

Using the Temple Duo 24. Going to try and get away with the 1595 air, but in the end may end up w the 1615. Every pound counts lol!I have a fairly large pedalboard and this arrived today, very happy with this & shaping out the foam took about 4 min since it's already perforated
Board size is 28x13. This specific model Pelican fits like a glove with room for cables etc.

I figured I should revisit this post.Just received a Deluxe Studio Slips bag.. if this is double-padding I'd hate to see what single padding is. It's hard to tell, but it sure doesn't seem like 5/8" worth of padding - even uncompressed, I can compress it down to probably 1-2mm. The construction seems top-shelf, but I was expecting a tighter/snugger fit. I've owned clamshells in the past for a head and cabinet, and the padding in them seemed more robust (going off memory as I don't own them any longer). It's definitely not as thick as the soft case of my Mono pedalboard.
Would absolutely not buy again at $235. I think might look start looking into hard-case options.
Glad to see this and happy that your FM9 survived the fall. Great unit.I figured I should revisit this post.
Last year Studio Slips was gracious enough to offer a full refund after my initial dissatisfaction - I decided to keep it as I really liked the idea of a soft case and decided to try it out. I've 2/3 other modelers that I gig with so this one saw maybe 6-7 shows in the last year. It's held up well with no issues. Tonight I gigged the FM9 and it took a fall (sitting in the SS bag) from the top of a monitor/wedge sitting vertically, maybe 28" or so. Not sure exactly where the impact point was - but after getting it home and inspecting it, it seems no worse for the wear - it fired up and played just fine. The bumpers on the FM9 and the padding in the Studio Slips bag seemed to have alleviated any damage from the fall.
I've enjoyed using SS bags and clamshells for a long time - it's good to know the FM9 deluxe bag seems to be a perfect mix of portability and protection. I would have to give the bag a 'recommended' rating at this time, even at it's price point.
