FM3-Edit stuck initializing SOLVED

I did the update to 8. Loving it. Was messing with a preset and when I clicked on "Library" on one of the blocks, it didn't have any of my saved ones. I went into the "Preferences" and clicked on a folder I thought it might be and it's been stuck "Initializing" since. This is just for FM3-Edit though. I can still switch presets and scenes using my foot controllers and the unit itself is perfectly fine. I can even use the "audio interface" function and finish watching the finale of Ripley on Netflix while I jam. But it won't get out of the "Initializing" state. I've quit the app and restarted both that and the unit itself, and it won't stop. It's been about 30 minutes and I'm getting worried.
 
Do you mean on the FM3-Edit? Because I can't do anything with it at all. All it's doing is "Initializing" and the only thing I can do is close it. Most of the options in the menus are grey'd out.
 
Launch it with fm3 disconnected.
Then connect it and select the correct ports
Be sure fractalbot is not running in background. If it is, kill it
