I saw somewhere in this thread where someone painted the grill cloth black. How was this done? How did you remove the grill cloth to paint it?

There's been so much good data in this thread, and the reviews for the FRs 10 and 12 are so good everywhere that I'm getting a pair of 10s.
So add me to the waiting list for the "Gen 2" EQ upgrade.

The grille is held on with Velcro . I will pop right out with a little pressure from the side with a screwdriver.

Initially I had 10's then went for 12's. Honestly both are so close but I found the 12's to have more bottom end for sure. Don't think you could go wrong either way
