The White Papers section, in particular the bit about Sampling Theory.
From what I get out of that article, all an electric guitar processor truly needs is ~20khz sampling rate to cover what the electric guitar's useful frequency range is, and it would improve the bit length's accuracy and reduce the processing load.
Would someone slap me if I got the wrong idea out of that? Thanks.
