I use a TS circuit on the front end set quite flat but that is it.
Never use the onboard boost in the model as it is 12db IIRC- too much for me.
Keep in mind with the new firmware that the boost is now adjustable.
I usually keep it off and boost with a TS instead, but I'll try that on my main metal patch now that you guys mentioned the improved pick response. Thanks!

Input Trim is the adjustable input boost/cut.
That being said, I like to use the boost on the FAS Modern and set the gain low.

I like no boost for the fact that there is less "hair".
