FAS amp take on Vox

There is a FAS Class A amp. I think it was a mistake using a EL84 class A power amp, and accidentally used a Fender tone stack.

I think Cliff also has said that the AC-20 is kind of an improvement on the Vox.

FAS Class A is a Blackface circuit.

The same thing the other FAS amps do, except for a Vox style amp.

If you're looking for an "improved" AC30 normal channel, try the Morgan AC20 models. I prefer the "bass" models but that's just me. The amp has some Vox normal channel character but the high end is very smooth and easier to work with than standard Vox circuits. If you want the Top Boost thing the only model I've found that does it is the Class-A 30W TB.

There are a number of recommended tweaks on the wiki to "improve" the performance of the Vox models.

I am aware of the existence of Morgan, Matchless, etc.

As someone who enjoys many of the other FAS amps, I would like to experience Cliff's idealized take on a Vox style amp.
