Ernie Ball MVP pedal - really expression?

Does anyone know if this pedal is truly an expression pedal?

I can't seem to find any definitive information about it being an expression pedal.

it's an analog volume pedal.

It says it's a hybrid - also an expression pedal.

I have an old original EB volume pedal I use as my 4th expression pedal. Works fine.

That's what I thought, but Ernie Ball uses the term "expression", I guess they're just saying it allows one to be "expressive" vs. expression pedal functionality. A little dodgy marketing if I must say so...

Yeah, I use one too, and it's just okay, not as linear as I'd wish it was.... but I like the format and the feel. I would replace my std volume pedal with this one if it was really an expression pedal.
