Using FAS Boost. I'm using somewhat of the classic V shape on the 5 band eq.

No, that was a boogie preset that i made after watching Brad Gillis' Star Licks video and copying the settings and using a factory IR (V30) that got close.

If you notice I keep things simple. Amp. Cab. Stereo fx. Boost when necessary.

@ToneRanger thanks for sharing the preset. I loaded it right before practice last night and was completely blown away. I've never downloaded a preset that sounded just like the clip that someone posted. This preset is AMAZING!

I've had the same experience. I've downloaded presets that sounded killer in videos but am left underwhelmed when I try them. Like Mark Days HBE. Sounds killer for him. I did get some useful settings from it.

I've had my Axe Fx II for a little over a year now. Love it! Since I do all my clips with headphones it should be pretty consistent. I pretty much have the same fx chain for all the presets I use. Just different amps and cabs.
