Doing a little work on my Anderson Pro Am

I am soldering a new trem claw on it (ground wire), soldering in a new H3 pickup, and doing a set up on it. I am going to try 8-38 strings on it. I'ved been wanting to try them for a while in spite of what other's say to do. It came with 10 gauge strings on it.

I figure it is an easy switch back to ten gauge strings If I do not like it. I have been struggling for too long. I think I have weak hands or something.

I usually use 9’s on 25.5 scale guitars. I have tried 8’s a few times. They definitely make fretting and bending easier, but in the end I liked the tension better on 9’s. There are also8.5 and 9.5 sets if you want to experiment further.
