Do you use your AxeFx and MFC live?

So my AxeFx II XL+ and MFC arrive on Monday. I have been planning on using it in the studio (obviously) and in song writing sessions where we all use electronic gear direct into a small PA/high powered keyboard amp but I am also hoping to use them live if I feel they can comfortably replace my guitar amps live. I've seen The Edge replace his massive setup live and nail his sound with no problem so I suspect it's completely within the realm of possibility that I can do my thing with it live as well.

Anyway...it appears there are many possible (and creative) ways to utilize these units live and I was wondering if some of you wouldn't mind posting some pics of your live examples of how you've integrated these units into your setup...especially if you have them both mounted on some sort of pedalboard with a folding rack of some kind or a unique arrangement of some sort. I'm looking for ideas as to how to best approach it for my needs.

Thanks in advance for your help. :)

I use my gear in a somewhat non-standard way in that I split my signal and run both bass and guitar sounds at the same time. Here is the thread detailing my new custom cab from XiTone that allows me to do this with ease. http://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/how-about-this-for-a-change.104879/

I use 2 pedal boards:

I use mine live extensively. I don't record much. My floor board is in a case 35x17 (don't know the brand, got if off craigslist. My Axe-fx is in a Rack bag 3 space. It used to be in a EWI Hard 6 space rack, but that was ridiculously heavy. I Also use a mono M80 dual guitar gig bag. I love that bag. The wireless is a Shure QLDX14.

I'll need to take a pic. I have my Axe II in an SKB case with a power conditioner and a G90 wireless. I have a Liquid Foot JR + w/ 2 mission pedals though. I run an atomic CLR as my personal monitor.

Thanks, Scott. :)

Used it live for years, hundreds of gigs, indoors and out. Very versatile rig. There is a picture of it in this post:

http://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/compact-stand-option-working-great.62436/

The post references two pics, one was removed way back... the one there shows how I normally set it up live. Just the MFC-101 and one Mission SP-2 on the floor out front.

When on a larger stage I put the speaker on top to project better, or just use a speaker stand. The stand is a 4 legged adjustable designed primarily for keyboards, but works great because you can move the front legs so the RCF fits underneath. Compact, sounds great, done.

Use mine live all the time. I also have another that I use at home all the time. It's the perfect tool for both uses.

Of course! Going on over 5 years of gigging with Fractal Audio gear. My MFC has held up really well and my Axe-Fx's have all performed flawlessly. To the point where I'm a little laissez faire about keeping any kind of backup around these days!

Hey so how does that live Karaoke thing work that you do? How many songs do you have to learn for that?

There's about 250 songs on the list. We rotate tunes in and out depending on popularity. Usually whatever pop song flavor of the week loses steam after 3 months or so then gets rotated in for whatever is new at the moment.

Typical karaoke staples stay in forever (i.e. Don't stop believing).

I use a foot pedal to scroll the lyric stanzas thats projected on to a small flat tv screen with an hdmi cable.
