Mine was defloured the day I took it out of the box . I take pretty good care of my toys so I tend not to worry about the plastic covers.

Those thin plastic films really don’t do any protection, do you still have them on your furniture

I took mine off before putting on the CEBA covers. When you double up on the protection it significantly decreases the feel.

But it helps you play longer.

Which is why I've been lobbying heavily for a plastic cover adjustment filter on my FM9. There are presets I take the plastic off and other where I double up, when I have too much feel.

Yep. I just got one (after a few years of playing and gigging with my FM3) and could not be happier. FM9 is the sweet spot.
