Do they anticipate doing a public beta with this firmware? I would imagine with an update as large as this they will be doing a lot of internal testing before even thinking about a public beta.
Thanks for all your hard work Fractal Team!
Don't single this one out, there are too many that are off topic. The signal to noise ratio is weak in this thread. This thread is about the upcoming Cygnus modeling... Not sure how your post is related?
It looks like I picked the absolute best time to get into Fractal's (an FM3) stuff. I have just enough time to learn how to really use it before
THE CHUGGENING
happens. I can't wait!!!
THE CHUGGENING
waiting for chugginess samples as well only I'm not sure if the differences will be so obvious as in the pristine or gnarly samples that were demo'ed. Punch in the chest might be harder, the scrape more gritty and the sac could hang lower. wellAny heavier "Chugging" video available then ? I've only seen mid gain ones so far, but the impression is already great!
A famous philosopher once said “...I chug, therefore I am...” or something like that.

Chug Norris: dammit! My coffee went everywhere!Chug Norris will be impressed too.
May Fractal is the only oponent that beats him.
Depends upon the version/era of the amp. My understanding is the original was 6550 powered, then moved to EL34 and on to the KT77. Yek's write up on the VH4 model used is the earlier 6550 powered model. https://forum.fractalaudio.com/thre...ls-das-metall-and-dizzy-v4-diezel-vh4.112971/The preselected isn't KT77. Usually they match , so I just mentioned and updated..... pretty much Cygnus related.
