Controlling sharp highs

Hey peeps!

I'm dialling in some tones that I like but suffering a little with sharp/piercing highs on the top strings.. Whats the best method of controlling the highs? a PEQ? if so set to what...

I'd start in the cab block with a Low Pass adjustment. Try it around 7-8k and go from there.



Edit: I think it's Hi-Cut in the cab block, not Low Pass.

I'd use the HIGH cut in the cab block, and maybe reduce presence in amp.

Excellent cheers... It was actually a tone matched sound so didn't have the cab settings but then found out that when you assign that tone match to a user bank you can recall it as a cab which then has the hi cut etc controls!
