I just imrovised a few solos with a new Recto patch with my custom IR. I just got a new fully loaded Ernie Ball Music Man Petrucci 6-string with Crunch Lab and Liquifire so I thought I'd try soloing for a while... I'm not doing it that much nowadays so it's not perfect but I guess you can tell if the tone is good or not. :)

If the drums sound familiar they are actually samples from Paramore. Someone ripped those from one of those guitar hero games. :)

Thanks! The bass is just my clean Fender patch with that same cab and I played it with my guitar and detuned it an octave lower. :) Sorry bass players but sometimes a detuned guitar sounds better in a mix. :D

Thanks man! That's actually a really easy tapping "Freak Kitchen" type of lick where I tap the octaves like this:

E --14-7-10
B ------------14-7-10
G -----------------------14-7-9
D -----------------------------------14-7-9
A -----------------------------------------------14-7-9
E -----------------------------------------------------------14-7-10

The 14th fret is always tapped... real simple.
