Changing the foot pedal patch when the Axe-Fx is change via front panel

Has anyone heard if anything is coming of this? It would be REALLY nice if the foot pedal were updated whenever I changed the patch on the front panel. Sometimes, I don't want to click up 10 times to get the patch. Besides, there's no good way to quickly map bank and patch to the absolute patch number.
