Great minds ...

I posted "Morrocan Roll", "Nuclear Burn" and a couple from "Product" with Phil on vox in the "Epic 70s songs and bands" Lounge topic on Tuesday.

Amazing band. As I said there Percy Jones on fretless bass reinvented his instrument.

If you like Brand X and you don't know this album from Tony Williams (1975) then you will love this too - with Alan Holdsworth on guitar.

Love that one and BC's Spectrum too with Tommy Bolin on guitar and Jan Hammer on keys. The 70s were definitely the "salad days" for fusion.

Quadrant 4 is one of the great fusion raveups of all time…and I was lucky enough to catch Mr. Cobham on his sorta recent tour at City Winery, where Tommy Bolin was indeed missed, but Billy still had the power and insane tempo on that tune……..
