Bose L1 Model II System

I'm considering purchasing the 'Bose L1 Model II System With B2 Bass Module' to use with my axe fx II XL+: does anyone have any experience using the bose L1 models? does it have an on-board power amp that I can use? Or do I still need to use a seperate power amplifier? thanks for your input in advance.
 
Dunno,from what I just read on the Bose website, this would be more applicable for acoustic applications, tho it is self powered. I would contact Bose support. I have no personal experience however.
 
I have this Bose configuration. It's a decent PA for acoustic-type gigs and small clubs. The power amp is built into the Bose, and to me, the sound is as you'd expect out of a FOH PA speaker. I have run my AxeFX II and AX8 through it and I like it most with acoustic.
