Folks -
Always loved this tune, and its tonality. Here's my humble approach to the basic guitar tone:
Axe-Change - Download Preset - Presence of the Lord - by plyall
I spent a lot of time on the Leslie, but am not as much of a Wah guy as most of the rest of you may be. I would appreciate some Wah tweaks from the folks in the know. A few other adjustments may be to taste - specifically the amount of drive, and the overall EQ. I found it fairly satisfying on a bridge mini-humbucker, but others may want to adjust to taste.
Another thought - just to get the 'swishiness' a bit sweeter, I thought about following the leslie with a light, very slow flange. I have no idea what Eric used on the original track.
If you haven't heard the tune before, give it a listen from some source. Here's one I dug up on YouTube - not the original (which was all sung by Steve Windwood), but it 'tain't bad!
