Best mic tube-preamp 'texture' block/drive for vocals?

Isn't there a nice tube pre-amp in the AFX, good for giving a clean vocal a little charter? Can't remember where or what it is named. I'm hoping to get something a little better than the 'Softube' plugin with my DAW, so i wil be using the AFX like a vocal 'warmer' plugin for this. I know people said they loved what the AFX tube 'preamp' does to their guitar tones, but is this preamp available seperately in the signal chain, like a drive pedal?

Anybody do this in their Axe?
I do some "dirty" vocals (very heavy metal style, screaming etc) and wouldn't mind using the Axe for adding a bit of fire to it :)

Or load up a null IR and use the preamp section of the Cab block.

As mentioned before, the Tube Pre is the one for inside the Axe. If you want something for inside your DAW, which I think is much easier regarding workflow, there is an excellent free plugin, the Wavearts Tube Saturator. The sound is fantastic, it is a huge CPU hog, though:

Since it's free, it does no harm to try it out. :)
I use this in the box for my saturation needs http://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/44-Saturation/367-TesslaPRO

I've had good results from plugging an SM57 straight into the Axe. Gives me tons of cool options for adding different distortion textures to the vocals.
