Axe-FX Vocals

Here is the latest project I sent out the door. It's essentially a pile of workout songs for a triathlon outfit.

The vocals were recorded (oktavamod mm-319) through a M-audio buddy (that doesn't add color but simply acts as an xlr-1/4" converter) and then into the axe (tube pre, tape sim, light comp). This setup is very close to the results achieved with my dad's avalon 737. Diggin' it! Vocals were completely flat in the session (minus a hi-pass aroound 100hz)

I really liked it. Tight mix. Seriously. Vocals were really warm. Everything else was great as well. Sorry no critique here. haha

Like it dude!
One thing the vocals are to out in front ( for me )
Bring up the kick and snare a little ( my taste )
Rest sounds great.
The Vox sound pretty good and well packed!!!
